2012 Active Employee Enrollment Book - Updated 12/29/11
2012 Retiree Enrollment Book - Updated 12/29/11
The annual employee benefit Open Enrollment period begins Monday, October 31 and runs through midnight November 11, 2011. Open enrollment kits with benefit plan information and instructions for enrolling were mailed to your home address. Materials included in your kit were printed prior to the publication and adoption of the 2012 County Budget. The 2012 budget includes a number of potential changes to the benefits offered to County Employees and Retirees. Consequently, the plan descriptions and premiums referenced within the booklets may not be accurate.
Upon adoption of the 2012 budget, the employee benefits division will send updated benefits information to all employees and retirees. We will provide additional opportunities to change your annual elections if the changes in benefits or contributions alters your decision. Details and instructions for the additional change period will be provided in the update.
Choosing your benefits is important for you and your family. Remember, the choices you make this November will remain in effect for all of 2012. That’s why the Benefits Division works hard to provide you with the information you need to make informed choices
Milwaukee County will offer FREE flu shots for all employees, retirees and covered adult dependents at all information sessions.
