“As I stated earlier this season, a strong visible law enforcement presence is a key to ensuring a safe, orderly summer in and around our county parks. These public spaces, filled with families and children looking to enjoy the summer, has no room in it for those who would carry illegal, dangerous weapons and have demonstrated no fear in using them to kill. Our efforts will identify those who illegally arm themselves with guns, and for them my message is simple: There will be no discussion when you roll with a gun. You will be arrested, prosecuted and, I trust, swiftly convicted for such a dangerous and foolish choice. Sheriff David A. Clarke, Jr.
