05-08-10 Southeast Multi-Jurisdictional OWI Task Force Arrest Totals

On Saturday, May 8, 2010, in an effort to make Milwaukee County a safer place to drive, the Southeast Wisconsin Multi-Jurisdictional HVE OWI Task Force conducted its 27th enforcement deployment targeting drunk drivers.  The task force which is comprised of local, county, and state police agencies arrested 31 people for operating while intoxicated.

Bayside - 0                    South Milwaukee - 3            West Allis - 3
Greendale - 0               St. Francis - 0                        City of Menomonee Falls- 0
Franklin - 3                    Town Of Brookfield - 0         City Of Brookfield - 1
 
Other statistics of note:
  • Four drunk drivers had a prior conviction of operating while intoxicated
  • The average prohited alcohol concentration was .12
  • A total of 208 citations were issued
  • A total of 21 citations were issued for driving with suspended/revoked/without license

The SE Multi-Jurisdictional OWI Task Force has arrested a total of 865 impaired drivers in just over a year.
