02-22-10 Southeast Multi-Jurisdictional HVE OWI Task Force Arrest Totals

On Friday, Febuary 19, 2010, in an effort to make Milwaukee County a safer place to drive, the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Multi-Jurisdictional Task Force conducted an enforcement operation targeting drunk drivers.  The task force which is comprised of local, county, and state police agencies arrested 28 people for operating while intoxicated.

Other statistics of note:
  • Seven drunk drivers had a prior conviction of operating while intoxicated
  • The average prohited alcohol concentration was .13
  • A total of 172 citations were issued
