The below Milwaukee County Hazard Mitigation Plan was adopted as the county-wide Hazard Mitigation Plan in November 2017. The updated plan profiles significant hazards to the community and identifies mitigation projects that can reduce their future impacts. The plan promotes sound public policy designed to protect citizens, critical facilities, infrastructure, private property, and the environment from natural hazards.
