Emergency Management Division


 

The Division of Emergency Management (EM) is the county's source for incident command system (ICS) modeling -- serving as lead operators during any crisis in managing both crisis-action-teams (CAT) and emergency-operations-centers (EOC). Emergency Management powers during a declared state of emergency involve procuring contractual services and equipment for response and preparation; additionally, this involves employing county personnel, facilities and resources to cope with the problems of a local disaster. (Wis. s.s. 323.)
