New Employee Orientation

 New Employee Orientation

  • The New Employee Orientation (NEO) is your gateway into discovering more about starting your new career with Milwaukee County. The NEO's objective is to welcome all new hires and provide them with the information they need about working for Milwaukee County so that they can be most effective in their new role.

  • All new Milwaukee County employees, with the exception of Seasonal hires, attend a centralized, full-day NEO on their very first day of work.

  • The NEO is held every other Monday and coincides with the beginning of a pay period.

-  Attending NEO:

  • Your supervisor will arrange for you to attend a NEO before your first day of work.

  • You will be notified of the specific date and time of your NEO in your offer letter, and you will also receive a NEO invitation

    • Carefully review your offer letter and invitation and follow all of the instructions

-  Milwaukee County Identification Card:

  • On your first day of work, as part of the NEO, you will have your photograph taken and a County ID badge will be created for you

  • All employees of Milwaukee County must wear and display their identification badge while at work
