2012 County Executive's Recommended Budget Released
Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele unveiled on Thursday a proposed 2012 budget that erases an inherited $55 million shortfall without major cuts to services while living up to his commitment to not include a property tax increase. The Business Opportunity Portal is a single source for all open bids and requests for proposals (RFP) from every County department, including County Procurement , the Architectural and Engineering Division of the Department of Transportation and Public Works, General Mitchell International Airport and the Milwaukee County Transit System. Check this site regularly to view the most recent business opportunities with the County as well as any updates or changes to outstanding bids and RFPs.

Milwaukee County's Accident Report Look-up
Crashes investigated by the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office are now available on the Sheriff’s Office website. In a continuing effort to improve customer service, Milwaukee County Sheriff David A. Clarke Jr. is using technology to make information more accessible to the public. The new accident report website allows a citizen to locate and print a copy of an accident report completed by the investigating deputy. Citizens should allow approximately five working days from the date of the crash for the report to be available on the site.
