Milwaukee County uses The Work Number®  to provide a fast, secure, anytime-anywhere automated employment or income verifications via the web or phone.


Employees will not be charged for verification of employment or income through The Work Number.  If a verifier charges an employee for acquiring this information, the employee can seek reimbursement by contacting The Work Number Call Center at 800-996-7566 M-F 7am-8pm Central time .  A representative of The Work Number  will start the reimbursement process.
