Visit the Green Living Festival for demonstrations, talks, and activities for the kids -- all centered on healthy strategies and sustainability. To commemorate Earth Month, learn about green, organic, fair-trade, and sustainable policies, products and practices. During your visit, re-energize with healthy, organic, locally-prepared, grab-n-go foods.

Kids' Jamboree
Enjoy three interactive, 10-minute skits by Kohl's Wild Theater

The Biodiversity Pep Rally -
Cheer for all the forms of life

The Bachelor-Pette - Learn to make good decisions when choosing a pet
The Trash Monster - Learn the importance of picking up trash and recycling

The Fashion Experience
See, up close, the fiber art of the 2013 Pfister's Artist in Residence, Timothy Westbrook. Westbrook weaves organic and repurposed materials, such as cassette tapes, into cloth that he transforms into fashions on a treadle sewing machine. Both the weaving and sewing use NO electricity. Twelve models will walk among the crowd, giving you the opportunity to talk with them about what they're wearing.

International Year of Family Farming
Meet with individual farmers to learn about the potential of family farms to eradicate hunger, preserve natural resources and promote sustainable development. Get details on locally-grown food, community-supported agriculture (CSAs), food shares, and work shares.

9 a.m.-3 p.m. "Grass-Trimming Goats" - outside on the plaza
Visit with the grazing goats that could keep the plaza "trimmed"

Scavenger Hunt
Complete the hunt and be entered in a drawing that includes a Friends of The Domes family membership, a full-color Harley-Davidson Motor Company book, and other great prizes!

"Green" Market & Vendor Demonstrations
See Earth-friendly, fair-trade vendors demonstrating a wide variety of products

10:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Cream City Rickshaw Rides - outside, in the park
Take a bicycle-powered rickshaw ride in the park. (Tips are appreciated)
10:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Chickens in the City
Meet the Cream City Hens and founder Jessica Lane, an advocate for raising your own backyard chickens
