You'll enjoy better fishing at the park lagoons due to the stocking efforts of the Hunger Task Force Farm & Fish Hatchery and the Department of Natural Resources. Rainbow trout and 6- to 11-inch yellow perch are among the fish stocked. Bag limits are posted at the lagoons.

Fishing Licenses All anglers will need a fishing license and inland trout stamp – except persons under 16 and Wisconsin residents born before Jan. 1, 1927. The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources determines fishing regulations. For stocking information, call the DNR Urban Fisheries Hotline at (414) 263-8494.
Note: Boats are not permitted on lagoons without the written permission of the Parks Division.
Spring Fishing Clinics for Children (Age 15 & Under) Saturday, April 14, 2012 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Bring your children, age 15 and under, to a free fishing clinic. Members of local fishing clubs will teach fishing basics to ensure safety and fun. Children will learn fish identification, knot typing, equipment use, fishing techniques, and safety.
Clinics will begin on the hour from 9 a.m.–2 p.m. Use our equipment or bring your own. A limited number of rods and reels will be available for clinic use by those children without equipment.
Children 6 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Groups of 20 or more should call (414) 263-8614 to make arrangements prior to attending the program.
