OVERVIEW:
  • The Milwaukee County 457 Deferred Compensation Plan is a powerful tool to help you reach your retirement dreams. 

  • As a supplement to other retirement benefits or savings that you may have:

    • This voluntary Plan allows you to save and invest extra money for retirement, tax-deferred.

  • Not only will you defer taxes immediately, you may build extra savings consistently and automatically, have a variety of investment options to choose from, and learn more about savings and investing for your financial future.

 

  Eligibility Requirements:


 

  • All current and fringe benefit eligible employees of Milwaukee County are immediately eligible to participate in the Plan. 

  • Enrollment into the plan can occur at any time throughout the year.

    • When you contact a Customer Representative of Great-West Retirement Services, they will explain the plan and provide the appropriate forms for the enrollment process.

  • The Milwaukee County 457 Plan is administered by Great-West Retirement Services.

  • Great-West also provides two on-site representatives to assist employees. 

  • The local office is located in Room 212-C of the Courthouse.
