General Policy & Guidelines

  1. You must pay for a minimum of 10 guests. The maximum number of guests at a party is 30. For larger parties see other rental options at Cool Waters.
  2. On the day of your party, before entering the aquatic park, go to the "Birthday Party Window" be prepared to give your host/hostess:
    • Your final guest count:  ALL persons age 3 and up who plan to enter the aquatic park for your party must EITHER be included in your guest count OR pay the full admission price for their age.
    • Your meal order: Check with your guests in advance so that you can plan your order.
    • Your payment of any balance due: If you have more than 10 guests in your final guest count, your balance will be calculated at $11.50 per person
    • Your birthday cake: You are allowed to bring your own birthday cake-
NO OTHER CARRY-INS of food or bererage are allowed. Your host/hostess will store the cake for you and serve it after your meal.
    • Your signed Aquatic Park Birthday Policies form: This form will be given to you with your contract.

  3. Your host/hostess will give you admission tickets for those included in your final guest count. You are responsible for distributing tickets to your guests before entering the water park. No one will be allowed to enter the water park without a ticket. Those attending your party but not included in the final guest count (that is, not ordering from the menu) will need to stand in the regular admissions line to purchase a daily entrance ticket.
  4. Upon entrance to the aquatic park, your group will be directed by your host/hostess to your reserved area. This area is available to you for the 2-hour time slot you have selected. Another party may have the area reserved following your party, so we ask that you leave the area in a timely fashion as a courtesy to the next group. You are welcome to stay in the aquatic park until it closes for the day. You may also opt to have your hand stamped for admission later the same day.
  5. Meals will be served approximately one half hour after your scheduled start time. Please allow more time if a large number of your guests order the Pizza Meal. Your host/hostess will serve any birthday cake which you have brought in.
  6. You may open gifts in the aquatic park; however Milwaukee County Parks is not responsible for the storage or safekeeping of any items.
  7. The aquatic park remains open if it is raining or if the temperature is cool. Severe weather conditions will cause the pool to close. If the aquatic park is closed the day of your party due to inclement weather or extenuating circumstances before your scheduled time, you may reschedule your party or receive a full refund.
  8. In accordance with the ADA, we welcome accommodation requests. To confirm availability of services, please call the Aquatics Office at (414) 257-8098 at least 72 hours prior to your party.
