Project Description: The work under this contract will consist of the PCC removal and replacement of the top 14" PCC pavement overlay of approximately seventy (70) concrete panels 20' x 25' in dimension located on Runway 1L-19R. Additional work includes the removal of existing concrete pavement joint sealant, re-sawing and sandblasing the joints, and installation of new joint sealant material for approximately 64,000 linear feet of pavement joints on Runway 1L-19R. Partial depth concrete spall repairs of the existing pavement located on Runway 1L-19R will also be performed. Partial depth repairs will involve milling the top 2 inches of pavement surface, cleaning, and patching of the pavement with an elastomeric concrete patch material. Crack routing and sealing of approximately 800 feet will also be performed. Miscellaneous work shall include taxiway/runway centerline and touchdown zone light can removals and replacements and associated conduit, cabling, and electrical connections.
