Supervisor Eyon Biddle, Sr., was elected to the County Board on April 5, 2011 and represents the 10th Supervisory District.

Supervisor Biddle’s priorities on the County Board are job creation and economic development, public transportation, public safety, and environmental protection of our public parks.  He is serving as a full-time, accessible, honest representative for his community.
 

Supervisor Biddle is a born and bred Milwaukeean, having spent most of his life living in Milwaukee’s north side.   His close ties to the 10th district began when his parents brought him home from the hospital to their home near 15th and Highland.  He was raised at Emmanuel Evangelistic Temple COGIC and Rehoboth Miracle Temple COGIC, where he was also married.  He has attended Heritage International Ministries and Ebenezer Church of God in Christ.

Supervisor Biddle is a proud product of Milwaukee Public Schools, attending Garden Homes Elementary, Hartford Avenue Elementary and Rufus King High School.  He also attended Marquette University, where he majored in Psychology and met his wife, Corry Joe Biddle.  He is the proud father of two beautiful children, Maya and Eyon, Jr.

Prior to his service on the County Board, he was the executive political director for Service Employees International Union (SEIU), overseeing the legislative agenda for eight locals representing over 18,000 members.  His experience includes working with legislators at all levels of government with the purpose of protecting and creating family supporting jobs. 

Prior to joining SEIU, he worked for two local nonprofit, service organizations – New Concept Self Development Center and Running Rebels Community Organization.  Cultivating a passion for advocacy and public service, he spent his time at these agencies as a mentor/counselor helping young people realize their potential and become responsible young adults.
