Observing the Moon and Deep Sky Objects

Join members of the Wehr Astronomical Society for deep sky viewing and solar viewing with telescopes provided by club members. You are also welcome to bring your own binoculars and telescopes.

Solar Observing at Wehr Nature Center June 16, 2012, 2-6 p.m. Join members of the Wehr Astronomical Society for an afternoon at Wehr. Presentations consist of general astronomy information and telescopic observations. Sessions are cancelled if skies are totally overcast or high winds are present at start time.
Special Event: Venus Transit Viewing June 5, 2012, 4-10 p.m.
