In response to the March 19 Journal Sentinel article regarding the lack of African American participation in Alzheimer’s-related research,
Andrea Williams, host and producer of the public affairs show “Our Issues Milwaukee,” interviewed Crocker Stephenson, Gina Green-Harris,
and our very own Andrea Garr. “Our Issues Milwaukee” is a locally produced program targeted at increasing awareness of issues facing the
Milwaukee community. The televised interview aired Sunday, April 3rd at 7:30 am on Channel WVTV Super 18 Milwaukee.

Ramona Williams, Program Coordinator for the Milwaukee County Department on Aging Elder Abuse and Adult Protective Services Unit was interviewed for a January 11, 2016 article in the National Association of Counties CountyNews to provide information about “Financial crime finds victims in aging population.” Milwaukee County is recognized nationally for its elder abuse model.
