Welcome to Wilson Park Senior Center. We hope that the following accessibility information will make your visit a more pleasant one.
Accessible water fountains are found throughout the building.
Elevator is located at the East Entrance, to access the dining site.
Each floor has a signed designated area of rescue assistance. People unable to use stairways to evacuate the building are to wait in these areas to be escorted out of the building by safety personnel.
Both the east entrance, and the circle driveway entrance are wheelchair accessible.
The senior center offers a meal program available Monday - Friday at 11:30, located in the lower level. Access to the lower level is located at the east entrance. There is a suggested donation of $3.00 for anyone over 60, and a fee of $7.00 for anyone below. Please register the day before if you would like a meal.
Parking is located east of the building in the large lot. Drop off is available at the circle driveway.
To promote building safety, weapons, personal safety devices, sharp implements, etc. are not allowed in the building.
Accessible restrooms are located at the east entrance, in the center of the building by the circle driveway entrance, and in the lower level outside of the dining site.
Pets are not allowed in the senior center. Service animals that assist individuals with disabilities and comply with the Milwaukee County ADA Service Animal Procedure are welcome in the senior center.
Sign Language Interpreters:
Individuals needing a sign language interpreter should contact the department, division, office, and/or person you need to communicate with and ask them to arrange for an interpreter for you. Sign language interpreter requests should be directed to the Office for Persons with Disabilities Sign Language Interpreter webpage.
MCTS bus routes on Wisconsin Avenue are 1 1/2 blocks south of the Courthouse. During rush hours, MCTS Freeway Flyers arrive and depart from 9th & 10th Street locations. http://www.ridemcts.com
A limited number of complimentary wheelchairs are located in the coat room off of the main hall. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own mobility devices.
