Welcome to McGovern Park Senior Center. We hope that the following accessibility information will make your visit a more pleasant one.
Accessible water fountains are found throughout the building.
The senior center has posted emergency evacuation signs throughout the building.
The front entrance is wheelchair accessible.
The senior center offers a meal program available Monday - Friday at 11:30. There is a suggested donation of $3.00 for anyone over 60, and a fee of $7.00 for anyone below. Please register the day before if you would like a meal.
Parking is located in the lot in front of the building.
To promote building safety, weapons, personal safety devices, sharp implements, etc. are not allowed in the building.
Accessible restrooms are located in the center of the building, off of the fireside room.
Pets are not allowed in the senior center. Service animals that assist individuals with disabilities and comply with the Milwaukee County ADA Service Animal Procedure are welcome in the senior center.
Sign Language Interpreters:
Individuals needing a sign language interpreter should contact the department, division, office, and/or person you need to communicate with and ask them to arrange for an interpreter for you. Sign language interpreter requests should be directed to the Office for Persons with Disabilities Sign Language Interpreter webpage.

A complimentary wheelchairs is located in the maintenance room if needed, please see staff to access. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own mobility devices.
