Welcome to the Kelly Senior Center. We hope that the following accessibility information will make your visit a more pleasant one.

 

Drinking Fountains: 

Accessible water fountains are found throughout the building.

 

Emergency Evacuation:

Each building has posted emergency evacuation signs. 

 

Entrances:

The entrances of both buildings are wheelchair accessible.

 

Food Service:

The senior center offers a meal program available Monday - Friday at 11:30 in the South Building.  There is a suggested donation of $3.00 for anyone over 60, and a fee of $7.00 for anyone below.  Please register the day before if you would like a meal.

 

Parking:

Parking is located in the lot directly in front of the main building.

 

Public Safety:

To promote building safety, weapons, personal safety devices, sharp implements, etc. are not allowed in the building.

 

Restrooms:

Accessible restrooms in the main building are located to the left of the front door. The accessible restrooms in the south building are located inside the and down the hall to the right.

 

Service Animals:

Pets are not allowed in the Senior Center. Service animals that assist individuals with disabilities and comply with the Milwaukee County ADA Service Animal Procedure are welcome in the senior center.

 

Sign Language Interpreters:

Individuals needing a sign language interpreter should contact the department, division, office, and/or person you need to communicate with and ask them to arrange for an interpreter for you. Sign language interpreter requests should be directed to the Office for Persons with Disabilities Sign Language Interpreter webpage.

 

Transit:

MCTS bus route 55 stops in front of the south building.  For more information on routes please see http://www.ridemcts.com

 

Wheelchairs (Complimentary):

A complimentary wheelchair is located in the main lobby by the fish tank.  In the south building one is located inside the front door.  Visitors are encouraged to bring their own mobility device.

Wheelchairs, Mobility Aids, and Other Power Driven Mobility Devices that comply with the Milwaukee County ADA Wheelchairs, Mobility Aids, and Other Power Driven Mobility Devices Procedure are welcome in the senior center.
